We're best known for our role as the technology backbone over which foreclosure homes are auctioned by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and in the past the Department of Veteran's Administration (VA). Eighty thousand real estate brokers and agents place Internet bids over our systems at all times of day and night. Our system processes the bids for real estate with an annual sale volume of $5 billion a year.

Tower's work began in 1991 with our design of fax-broadcast and interactive voice response (IVR) technology to disseminate foreclosure home listings for the Southern California office of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The technology quickly spread to other HUD offices, and the following year, we incorporated electronic bulletin boards. In 1995, with the advent of commercial World Wide Web, we added web-based access, and created an electronic auction system to accept Internet and telephonic bids. This system replaced what previously was a highly manual and paper-intensive process of opening and reviewing thousands of bids each week, freeing HUD officials to focus on higher-level activities.

Today, in addition to electronic bidding systems, Tower currently provides web based database management systems to assist HUD Asset Management Contractor with their workflow process.
